My life of travel started small, as childhood holidays to Cornwall and France. I've since backpacked through Asia, safaried in Africa and road-tripped through Europe. I've lived in London, Sydney and Auckland for years at a time.

Itchy feet have led me to dozens of temporary homes in far-flung destinations, from Russia to Italy and Croatia. I've spent most of the last year in Tasmania, exploring everything this beautiful state has to offer.

These days, travel looks a little different; slower and more thoughtful. What hasn't changed is my love of the open road and unexpected adventures in beautiful places.

I'm still looking for meals cooked by locals in family-run restaurants with a glass of wine from their friends nearby. I still gasp audibly in front of anything from ancient monuments to contemporary works of art.

All that's really changed is that I now get to share these experiences with you.
