Dawn breaks over the skeleton trees of the Deadvlei pan in Sossusvlei, Namibia

My life of travel started small, as childhood holidays to Cornwall and France. I've since backpacked through Asia, safaried in Africa and road-tripped through Europe. I've lived in London, Sydney and Auckland for years at a time.

Itchy feet have led me to dozens of temporary homes in far-flung destinations, from Russia to Italy and Croatia. I've spent most of the last year in Tasmania, exploring everything this beautiful state has to offer.

These days, travel looks a little different; slower and more thoughtful. What hasn't changed is my love of the open road and unexpected adventures in beautiful places.

I'm still looking for meals cooked by locals in family-run restaurants with a glass of wine from their friends nearby. I still gasp audibly in front of anything from ancient monuments to contemporary works of art.

All that's really changed is that I now get to share these experiences with you.

Here, you'll find links to everything from detailed city guides or hiking trails to photography journals and local tips.

Pick a place and start exploring. I hope you find what you're looking for. Here, or out there in this big, beautiful world.
